Hi I just wondering that if the developer of Firefox can make or improve more about personality and security online I hope they can make The possibility to encrypt browser with browser more like you are of another browser to encrypt into one

Windows 10 and cannot upgrade to 11. Firefox is current.

Pages began to open slowly so restarted computer, which fixed that issue but the bookmarks (happens often), Bitwarden & Instapaper icons were missing from the toolbar. I managed to retrieve the bookmarks but while attempting to restore the icons, the puzzle icon disappeared, which, after many hours I did manage to retrieve.

The boxes that open after right-clicking on the gear or puzzle icons do not match what the multiple online help suggestions show (I cannot take a screenshot of what I see in my drop down menus). I have deleted and reinstalled Instapaper and Bitwarden to no avail. Multiple suggestions from Bitwarden emails did not work and they suggested that it may be a Firefox issue.

Also, videos will not load but will load on Microsoft Edge.

I've had issues with Firefox now for quite a while and they only seem to be getting worse. Performance is really bad, it's lagging while browsing, especially infuriating when typing as the letters come out at a stuttering pace. I've tried disabling extensions one by one, I've tried troubleshoot mode and experienced no major difference.

If I can't solve this soon enough I won't be able to keep using Firefox, as the experience is so frustrating. And it would be a shame since I've come to like it quite much.

Well being an OAP I needed new laptop. Always used Firefox browser but finding it difficult to get restarted. Had to opt out of window s to even download. Apparently I can transmit(?) my existing passwords etc from one laptop to another is this correct? Only basic computer knowledge but trying hard !! Karen x

I've used Firefox for years, but recently Firefox is unusable on Mac OS 15.7.2 because it's hogging all the RAM over time. I get a spinning beachball on my MacBook Pro. I look at the RAM being used and it's even over what I have in the computer. I have and always keep Firefox updated to the latest version.

When I click on the URL bar, the entire URL is highlighted. Then, if I click the left arrow, it brings my cursor to the start of the URL. After it moves my cursor, it then prepends the URL with the protocol (https://, http://, etc). My cursor is now no longer on the left side, and I need to hit my left-arrow key several more times to reach the left side.

Ideally, it would bring my cursor to the left side of the protocol, or show the entire URL, with protocol, in the URL bar, so that it does not need to prepend it.

Try to setup Thunderbird POP3. Keeps asking for a primary password I never set. I do have a password for Mozilla Firefox, used to log-in and create this question. POP3 Yahoo has been real trouble since the MSFT update as of Novemeber/December 2025.

I have an account with CA FTB (to make my estimated tax payments) and an account with CA DMV (for DMV stuff like renewing drivers license).

The FTB account is https://webapp.ftb.ca.gov The DMV account is https://www.dmv.ca.gov

So, Firefox browser seems to think these two accounts are the same, and tries to use my FTB credentials for my DMV account.

It seems like the .ca.gov causes the browser to think they are the same account?

So, I would appreciate any insight on how to fix or work around this problem.

In Firefox, I have audio and video autoplay blocked globally, and added an exception for one particular website (Discord). However, Discord now only autoplays videos once, but doesn't loop them as it should (they implemented GIFs as videos, but now they don't loop).

Of course this could be interpreted as a bug in Discord's web client. However, there shouldn't be a difference between a website that got an exception and autoplay being globally allowed. Therefore i suspect that there is a bug in firefox where some property, state, or hint is set differently depending on whether a page has been added to exceptions or autoplay is allowed globally.

Is there anything i can do to work around this? I really want an autoplay exception to actually work as expected (the website doesn't need to know that it's special)

I have had Firefox using autofill for credit card payments for years--just replace my iMac with a new Mac Mini, and the credit card info still pops up when I am making a payment, but it will not autofill.

Hi I have switched to Mozilla from Chrome as I can’t update latest OS for my Mac. I can only browse internet intermittently and just want to ask if there are any settings I need to change on Firefox? Thanks Aidan
